Who or What Is The Theme, Motive and Glory of Our Conversation?

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake" II Corinthians 4:5

"Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void. For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel." I Corinthians 9:15-18

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, that I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection and fellowship of HIS sufferings.

Genuine Thanksgiving For God's Mercy...Is Your Hope Found in Christ Alone?

"Out of the depths I have cried to YOU, O Lord, Lord hear my voice! Let YOUR ear be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If YOU, Lord should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with YOU, that YOU may be feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits and in HIS Word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning, yes more than those who watch for the morning." Psalm 130:1-6

Jesus could stand and is the only one who can ask anyone, which of you convicts me of sin? Jesus is the WORD and through the gift of God in Christ, forgiveness is provided, sin paid, righteousness exchanged and imputed. HE willfully laid his life down so the dead(you and I) could live, HE is risen , ascended and will return. Jesus is the only ONE where there is hope, a living HOPE, a true HOPE for apart from Christ, there is nothing but eternal separation and despair. The time is fulfilled, repent and believe the GOOD NEWS!

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, that I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection and fellowship of HIS sufferings.

Praise and Pray....

Loving someone reveals a prayerful intercession to God for HIS Spirit to invade, change and resurrect their soul, mind and body conversely hiding hatred with deceitful lips is telling others what that individual should be doing, what they have done or how they are rebelling. The latter reveals my own wickedness, my own unforgiveness and my own ignorance of the knowledge of the Gospel of Christ towards Brian. One position edifies, the other divides, one trusts the Spirit of God to bring unity, the other brings contention and strife, one drives the individual to the Cross of Christ where mercy is found, the other drives the soul away from the goodness of God towards condemnation. When we finally realize that every idle word will be brought into judgment, our lips will be cut off and understand if we bridle not the tongue, our 'religion' or walk with God is in vain to an onlooking world and a God who sees the very motives of our heart, counsels of our mind and intent of our actions.

"He is on the path of life who heeds instruction, But he who ignores reproof goes astray. He who conceals hatred has lying lips, And he who spreads slander is a fool. When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who restrains his lips is wise.…" Proverbs 10:17-19

Praise, Pray, Preach The Gospel, Live the Gospel, Give Thanks!

If the Gospel you are under does not call you to give your life, you have not received the life of the ONE who gave HIS life for you. For apart from Christ Jesus, there is NO life.

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, that I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection and fellowship of HIS sufferings.

ILL ADVISED or WELL ADVISED? Which Are You Brian?

"Only By Pride Comes Contention But With The Well Advised Is Wisdom." Proverbs 13:10

"A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke. A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth,But the soul of the unfaithful feeds on violence. He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction." Proverbs 13:1-3

Arguments in family life between spouse and children are rooted in pride unwilling to submit to Christ, accepting the wisdom that makes one well advised by THE COUNSELOR - Jesus Christ. Is HE my shield or am I ill advised warring in the flesh, allowing the enemy to destroy penetrate my heart, corrupt my mind and ruin my witness and testimony? Set a watch over my heart and guard my lips so they produce a life of praise and thanksgiving knowing that I have been accepted in the beloved through the blood of Christ.

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. That I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection and fellowship of HIS sufferings.

How Is Our Life Magnifying The Cross of Jesus Christ?

"If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto myself" John 12:32

"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ died in vain." Galatians 2:21

Has your spouse, children or family witnessed you magnify the Cross of Jesus in any manner with a heart of gratitude, thanksgiving and contrition? There can unequivocally be no stone throwing, judgment or unforgivenss if I find my station boasting in the great payment for sins ransom, the very cross of my Lord and Savior. This is where you get the bread and blood to commune with the Risen Lord. You ever taken anyone to the Cross of Christ?

"But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." Galatians 6:14

Reason the world, opinions, preferences, still has you wrangled, tied up and in bondage, failure to boast in the Cross of Christ Jesus. The SON is RISEN and who the SON sets free is free indeed!

"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, that I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection and fellowship of HIS sufferings.

Let All The Inhabitants of the Earth Praise our Great God and King...

"But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." James 4:6-7

I Can't Mortify Something I Always Make Provisions to Fulfill...

"The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof." Romans 13:12-14

Strife, envy or the cares of the world choking your walk with God. Many of these are going to have to die such as holding a cell phone, texting, to real godly relationships can live between you and brethren. Text from heaven, put your phone up for a week and pray!

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, that I may know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection and fellowship of HIS sufferings.

So Jesus said to the twelve, "You do not want to go away also, do you?" Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. "We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God."… John 6:67-69

There is way that seems right unto Brian but it only ends in death. Not my will but THY will be done!

The Lord Has Been Abundantly Merciful and Gracious to My Family, Specifically My Father Who Was Born this day in 1945.

A great father, granddad to his children and husband to my mother, an encouraging brother to the brethren and friend to even the outcast, Lord bless you dad and shine HIS countenance upon you. Thank YOU Lord for helping to shape YOUR image in his heart, may we honor YOU LORD for YOUR kindness towards us. Only by YOUR grace Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus can I type these things.

Love your son.

True Humility....

Jesus was the only person different than any other man, yet the only time he looked down on anyone was from a tree, with blood pouring from His Body, marred and beaten, saying Father forgive them, they know not what they do.

HE could have judged every man and compared them to Himself yet He didn't, only saying which one of you convicts me of sin. He did not come to condemn the world for we already stood condemned, dead in trespasses and sins, He came to save the world. John 3

Are you delivered from the wrath to come through the blood of Christ and am I giving mercy for HE has shown so much mercy to me? Freed to love and forgive or held by guilt to judge and condemn? I am in one place or the other, either in Christ or outside of the family. Make your call and election sure!

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and fellowship of His sufferings

"And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

This he said, signifying what death he should die.

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. John 12:23-50
