Praise Be To God Who Gives Us the Victory Through Our Lord Jesus Christ!

Are you enjoying decreasing as Jesus increases!

HE must increase, I must decrease. John 3:30

Everytime I have boasted other than in the Cross of Jesus Christ and HIS power I have NOT loved God nor the flock of our Great Shepherd!

Love is not proud and does not boast! Even if I gave away everything to the poor and sacrificed my body to be burned and if I find myself boasting in this, I have failed to love. I Corinthians 13

"Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast permeates the whole batch of dough? Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch, since you are unleavened. For Christ our Passover has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us observe the feast, not with old yeast, or with the yeast of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." I Corinthians 5:6-8

May my tongue be cut off, my heart exposed, broken and cleansed from all past boasting which does not bring glory to God through Christ, true godly sorrow be wrought in my heart and repentance be provided by the grace of MY SAVIOR and KING! Thank YOU JESUS for the mercy YOU offer and distribute. May we feast on YOUR FLESH and BLOOD lifting YOU UP ALONE!

The strife of tongues will be silenced! May it be so in me.....

Are You Prepared to Suffer With Joy! We must align our hearts with the Risen Christ!

May the Love of God through Christ overwhelm, engulf and dwell in your richly!

Words from our Great Shepherd, Jesus the Christ, may we have ears to hear and hearts open to follow HIM!

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.' "But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.…” Matthew 5:43-45

BE BLESSED and REJOICE!

A Fool Compares Himself With Others; We Must Look, Behold and Glory At and In Christ In Light of Ourselves!

The Same Cross and Blood That Forgives Men of Murder and Rape Forgives Men of Gossip, Slander, Pride, Complaining and Unbelief.

What best describes the attitude of my prayer life and how I view others? What best describes how I speak of myself and refrain from speaking about anyone else other than in love? Religious man, listen and repent! "An evildoer pays attention to wicked lips. A liar opens his ears to a slanderous tongue." Proverbs 17:4

"Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." Luke 18:10-14

May we fix our eyes on the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ Himself.

We don't need to print this out and read it to our spouse or brother, it is for ME.......

My Vision or Jesus?

"The way of a fool is right in his own eyes but he who seeks counsel is wise." - Proverbs 12:15

"There is no wisdom, no counsel nor understanding against the Lord." Proverbs 21:30

"In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Judges 21:25

Praise be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! May we give entrance unto YOUR WORD, the LIVING SPIRIT OF THE RISEN CHRIST as YOUR ALWAYS DO WHAT IS RIGHT ACCORDING TO YOUR FATHER's WILL!

THY WILL BE DONE, THY KINGDOM COME! May we praise YOU and LIFT YOU UP as YOU draw all MEN to YOURSELF! Get every man out of the way beginning with me! We must die to live!

By Your Mercy Alone! Praise Be to God Who Gives Us the Victory Through our Lord Jesus Christ!

"Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned." Titus 3:1-11

So many desire to be proud stars rather than humble servants resulting in the fruit of disunity, false doctrine, cloaks of covetousness and doctrines of devils. Who is praying for unity and asking God for deeper humility, gratitude and thankfulness towards Him for the gift of His Son and deposit of His Spirit? May it be so in me!

Showing People Judgment? A Failure of Receiving the Mercy of Christ!

A Fool Compares Himself With Others; We Must Look, Behold and Glory At and In Christ In Light of Ourselves!

From Whom Do You Seek Praise? God or Men? Your Attitude Reveals This....

"Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God. And Jesus cried out and said, "He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me.…John 12:42-44

My boasting and heart will be humbled glorying in the cross of my Lord Jesus Christ or if I seek the praise of men it will be proud and tell 'what I have done' - simply the truth of what I have done is offer dirty rags at best. Whenever you have been offended by a lack of praise it reveals you were seeking praise from that idol(another) to glorify another idol(you). Blind leading the blind. Deceived and deluded. The sorrow in your life is a tool to push you to draw joy from Christ alone. Go to HIM and allow HIM full entrance and an open door to the caverns of your soul.

John 12:30-35 Jesus answered and said, “This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” This He said, signifying by what death He would die. The people answered Him, “We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.”

We are sons of light when our darkness is exposed and HIS advocacy, priesthood, salvation revealed. The SON was lifted up and our boast is in HIS work, no flesh can nor has the ability to boast in HIS presence(I Cor. 1:29). When someone boast of themselves it is absolutely VOID of the presence of Christ.

Apart from Christ, I can do (________), thus in Christ when HE has born fruit and a witness, I must point to heaven, point to HIM for HE initiated it, watered it, broke it, raised it, harvested it, glorified it. My breathe is not my own, how in heaven's name can I boast?

Jesus is asking us if we know the profound work that HE did on that TREE? Our part and HIS part? I can tell you this, if I lost 3 limbs and they were hacked off, even to someone I treated kindly and never said a vile, slanderous word against, I deserve it, had my eyes plucked out, I deserve it, hung upside down and burned forever, I am owed this.

I have been given something far greater than this slight knock and attack could be towards me. FAR GREATER! Jesus subdued kingdoms, principalities and absorbed the Father's wrath to provide us a pathway of peace and life, to be ONE with the Father. GREAT NEWS!

Praise Be to God Who Gives Us the Victory Through Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do We Know The GOOD NEWS of what happened on that Tree and Absolutely our Savior is Risen, an Advocate before the Father and we are reconciled through Christ alone to the Father!

From the Birth of the Church Until Now This Occurs...

"And he (Herod) killed James the brother of John with the sword." Acts 12:2

Since Stephen, James, Paul and Peter until this hour, thousands in the church of the LIVING RISEN CHRIST suffer great persecution, yet we are indifferent, carnal and worldly. This is our family given us by our Lord Jesus Christ.

If I,through Christ, am not threat to darkness, persecution will I not face for the cause of Christ, moreover rejoice when it occurs. Only in Christ is this fulfilled as we bear up one another by HIS mercy and grace! Praise Be to God Who Gives Us the Victory Through Our Lord Jesus Christ!

Are You Prepared to Suffer With Joy! May Christ Be Formed in Our Hearts!

May the Love of God through the Spirit of Christ overwhelm, engulf and dwell in your richly!

Words from our Great Shepherd, Jesus the Christ, may we have ears to hear and hearts open to follow HIM!

We All Are Herald's, Living News? What Is the World and Brethren Reading Through Our Life?

Loud boasters of 'good works' or humble servants with hearts turned to Jesus in repentance and praise?

"Most Men Will Proclaim Their Own Goodness, But A Who Can Find A Faithful Man?" Proverbs 20:6

Will my life be wrought with proclamations of 'my own goodness' and what I have done for God? Mind you the Pharisees practiced this well and were doomed for destruction never doing anything well but being self absorbed filled with pride clean on the outside yet full of dead men's bones. Proclamations of my own goodness = bankrupt of any righteousness, menstrual rags in the sight of God

OR

Will my life be a proclamation of what God did on my behalf for me, a helpless, hopeless, dead soul apart from the Blood of Jesus the Christ, the power of the Spirit of God and the great mercy God provides on our behalf and brings to us every morning?

"For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things." Philippians 3:18-19

Philippians 3

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation! For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind. Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself."

Setting Mind on Earthly or Heavenly Things? Which Kingdom Am I From, Darkness or Light?

Loud boasters of 'good works' or humble servants with hearts turned to Jesus in repentance and praise?

"Most Men Will Proclaim Their Own Goodness, But A Who Can Find A Faithful Man?" Proverbs 20:6

May we have no confidence in the flesh! Praise Be to God Who Gives Us the Victory Through Our Lord Jesus Christ!

"Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation! Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as dung, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Opinionated?

Those with strong opinions and views have no regard or estimation for the words of Jesus.

"There is a way that is right unto man and it only ends in death." Proverbs 14:12

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but by me" John 14:6

If I am self willed, I will strive to make my opinion truth, force others to submit to it and be found to be a liar before the assembly. Love is not proud, does not boast and is not self willed. I Cor. 13 - Do nothing out of strife and vain glory - Philip. 2:1-5 (mind of Christ)

By Your Mercy Alone! Praise Be to God Who Gives Us the Victory Through our Lord Jesus Christ!
